Was an awesome experience at Stella. Started at the fun, energetic bar to a great, romantic, delicious dinner! My boyfriend and I recently tried this place, and we cannot wait to go back!
The food was to die for!! The waitstaff was helpful and efficient. Great specialty food store for cheese, deli meats, and warm, take-home meals. My wife and I ate at Pazzo Sat. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed people watching while we had …. We came to the North End not not realizing it was St Anthony fest weekend. Walked into Ducali Pizzeria and the Sangria and the Antipast as well as…. This is a first-class place to go if you are looking for bona fide Italian food in town.
They have so many good dishes in here and sometimes they…. Il Panino is great for take out because the meals are always made fresh when ordered - the food isn't sitting around pre-made. The pizza is…. Lobster popovers are addicting, wood fired rotisserie rib roast…. Close Click here to go now. Sunday dinner special of pasta, meatballs, salad, dessert. Just like old times! Very enjoyable. Service was pleasant, but kitchen was slow due to a large party in the back dining room.
Gave my family and I more time to talk electronics free!! This is our 3rd time. We love going to this restaurant. We ordered the short ribs 2-way and it was fantastic. Was a little too salty but this place is consistently good. Service is good too.
Excellent attention to detail with very friendly wait-staff. We went to an early seating because of our small children and they were very accommodating and friendly.
They fixed price menu was excellent for a Sunday meal and we will definitely be back. This is the second time dining at Andiamo and I cannot say enough about how good the food and service are. The short ribs were fantastic and were so tender, they cut with a fork.
I would highly recommend Andiamo for a great meal! I will be going back for a third time in the near future. We brought our daughter and her husband to Andiamo's for her birthday. They loved the wine, food and service was great. Lavelle attended to us and was cheerful. The appetizer tasted great and our meals, all different, were wonderful.
My daughter is picky and her husband is an executive chef. Both were very pleased and look forward to returning. We've lived in the area for over a year and have heard of this place as being great for Italian dining. We went on an early week night as we had heard it could be crowded and noisy towards the end of the week. We were totally satisfied. I had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the short ribs and she was equally pleased.
The Maitre-d maybe the owner was very friendly and kept tabs on things. Service was prompt and courteous and we were never rushed. We plan to go back. Free parking was a great surprise!! Great atmosphere! Lovely ambience! Really good food Food took a long time to even though it was not really crowded GREAT experience!!
First time Food and drinks were great both times we have been here. The only thing that has been an issue was a long delay in the meal both times. Not sure what the cause was but the servers were great. Would recommend this place but be patient. The food was excellent. We had the eggplant appetizer which was very tasty and then I had the butternut squash ravioli. I have already made reservations to go back and try the salads and the short ribs.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food. Andiamo certainly knows how to create tasty food. The service and the atmosphere was excellent as well. From the bread to the dessert, this was a fabulous meal! I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food is great and the service is excellent. Our server, Molly was friendly, very knowledgable and very attentive to our needs. The owner, Jim Rogers, is excellent. He delivered our appetizers directly to our table and took the time to speak with us for a bit.
I would receommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody. Great service, nice room, interesting cocktails, nice wine selection. My Caesar salad could have used crisper romaine, but my lamb special was excellent. My wife's butternut squash pasta was cloying sweet. It was as if cheese cake had been repurposed. Our friend really enjoyed her swordfish. In a town with some nice restaurants, this place is worth a try.
I've dined at Andiamo several times and always think the food and service is very good. Andiamo has created a great destination on Wednesday night for listening to top notch Jazz!! The resident "Mayor of Jazz in Newburyport," Phil McGowan, brings a different group of extremely talented and jazz loving musicians to join him on drums every week. To sit and enjoy this music accompanied by the great food and drink of Andiamo creates a wonderful and special atmosphere in Newburyport.
Reservations are a good idea to get a good seat near the band. Like its predecessor in this room , the hard surfaces lead to a quite noisy experience. More importantly, the food was excellent. Our group had the cod special and the duck. All super. The trendy high tables and chairs are impossible to pull in to the table.
Not suitable for those of us "approaching our middle years. On a horrible rainy night, I stopped here to meet a friend. For a last minute pick, it was quite a find. The staff were friendly. The blood orange martini was delicious. The handmade pasta with duck and mushrooms was delicious. I'll be back. My wife and I were looking for a different venue for dinner.
We were very pleased to find Andiamo Resturant. The food was superb! The presentation awesome and service very attentive. It tends to be noisy in the back rooms, but would most definetly return for more good eats. Did not meet expectations again, been there like four times. The short ribs were tender, but tasteless and served on a big, cold plate my first measure for a good restaurant is do they serve the food on a hot plate?!
The place is notorious for horrendous noise and beats many bars to it. Not a relaxing place to have a cozy dinner with friends. Out of the wine we ordered but no substitute for the same price. Service was fair. Probably will not return although the last time we were there it was good.
A last minute reservation [our fault] got us a small center table between two large loud parties. From Business: The history of Pasta Beach began in a small Italian trattoria some time ago where a girl and a bowl of spaghetti pomodoro fell endlessly in love.
Established in…. Lobster popovers are addicting, wood fired rotisserie rib roast…. My husband and I can always count on Pagliuca's for a good meal with some authentic wine choices. My friend and I walked in off the street on a rainy Thursday night…. I love it! I've dined here several times and have ordered a takeout once. The waiters are very friendly and knowledgeable and food is delivered…. This is the second time we ate at Mare at its new location. We started with the crab cake and bruschetta salad.
