Fairburn Avenue Elementary School. My child attended the TK program at Fairburn Avenue Elementary and it was nothing short of excellent! Her TK teacher was amazing - knowledgeable, collaborative with parents, patient, caring and kind to all of her students.
My daughter loved attending school and formed a wonderful bond with her teacher as well as with her classmates. My child is now in kindergarten and I'm already very pleased with her new teacher my child is too!
Fairburn's size is perfect - not too big, not too small, just right. Everyone seems so happy - teachers, staff particularly the office staff - they are all great! And Fairburn's principal is a gem. This is a our residential high school. I sent my daughter there in 9th grade after hearing mixed rumors about the school. She is a senior this year. I can say with confidence that she has had the best high school experience out of all my kids. University High school has been great for her academically and socially. She has taken some very challenging AP classes with excellent teachers. She has thrived in their leadership program. She participates in the after school musical theater program that puts on 2 great musicals a year.

Houses with yards but easy access to groceries, restaurants, stores, and medical facilities. Short walk to public transportation. Pharmacy and various markets all within 1 mile apart. Great restaurants. Close to shopping mall. Easy commute to The Valley. Close to Nothing more to say. I only commute to The Valley. It is in the walking distance to shops, restaurants and movie theaters. From this location it is easy to go any direction without traffic by taking the back roads.
And if any emergency happens we will be more likely to survive. We walk to dinner most nights because there is a very good selection of great restaurants. Most people pick up after their dogs and most people have them on leashes.
Another one at the VA property off Barrington just south of the Brentwood post office. There's also a dog park really close by, good place to go with the pup to socialize. Visitor 2y ago. So that's great. But there are some students who look down upon dogs or are scared of them. Even if you're dog is happy and extremely friendly some people don't like it.
I've personally have had people yell at me for just having my dog out. Central location is great. Close to beach, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, century city. Very safe. Everything is very close by. Resident 3y ago. People is respectful of the public spaces, cleaning after their dogs and keeping them on leashes if they are big.
