Yookie started out strong, but about halfway through their set, lost their way. They finished out their set playing second clips. Great if you're a Chad, not so great if you want a contiguous groove you can dance to. Saymyname came out next. Laid down a really good set.

Prior to tonight, I'd been on the fence about whether I wanted to follow them on SoundCloud. Tonight's performance told me to get of the fence and hit the follow button. Good, energetic set. Even had segments that made me say to the people around me "DC promoters actually are able to sorta get hardstyle-ish acts".

Next, Diesel came out. I'm always suspicious of celebrities-turned-DJs. So, I've never gone to see him when I've had other opportunities even the free show at November's re:Invent. Was pleasantly surprised. Was a good, high-energy set. Finally, Borgore came out. What can you say? It was Boregore. He gives you what you expect him to: a good, high-energy performance that uses up whatever energy you had left in you that night.

There was no "huh: he got outplayed by his openers". Just a solid, energetic set that makes the whole room jump around. Probably accounts for why, after crashing-out from the Uber ride home, I slept till after Asaf Yoseph Borger better known by his stage name of Borgore is an Israeli electronic dance music producer and DJ who has been making waves since appearing on the dub-step scene in Merging his electro sounds with sounds taking from genres including heavy metal and rock, the young artist has been known to have one of the most energetic live shows around.

Having released just one major body of work thus far, Borgore's set lists are unpredictable and diverse as he reaches from various EPs and singles to keep the crowd moshing and dancing in equal measure. He does have some surprises though when he breaks from his gore-step sound to drop his collaborative single 'Decisions' which features backing vocals from Miley Cyrus.

He keeps the audience entertained throughout as he jumps and thrashes around the stage with his live band who help him to create his complicated sounds. Whether you had heard of Borgore before or not, you were assured to have been left with an impression following his live show.

I dunno what happened. He started out playing a good opening sixty or so minutes, but then decided to punk-out and start playing nothing but sixty-second intros I came to see Borgore put on a show, not just play DJ. If I'd have only been there for his first hour and 12th Plante's set! That he ruined his set with a very lazy second half means the best I can give this outing is a C.

Note to other artists: if you only have sixty minutes worth of material, either don't accept a headlining gig or ask the promoter to book in one more opener so you can keep your set short enough that you don't run out of material. Awesome party at Borgore's in Macau. The city's newest venue, Pacha, has fantastic sound and great environment, with a beautiful outdoor terrace to chill out.

There weren't too many people unfortunately, but Borgore did his part. Just what I expected. Hardcore to the end. Finally, some serious dubstep arrived to our area. He did an absolute amazing performance. Played all my favorite songs and kept the energy up constantly. Can't wait to attend another show. This show was great! If you're into Trap, this was also a part of the genres played there with Apashe.

The music was great all throughout the night. The location was pretty awesome. We basically raged in an old school theater. The only issue I had was that the show was 16 and up. It was weird seeing underage kids on drugs and underage girls half naked twerking on stage for Borgore. Ir esa fucking awsome, ar first I hope more from headhunterz such as a mumbatoe or trap style and he was playing so EDM. But then he began to play songs that are so amazing, Borgore was so nice I have a great time so I hope the soonly come back.
