Easy access to 95 or Very dirty. Terrible parks for the kids. Drugs everywhere. Overall not a great place". However everyone who walks their dog is expected to clean up after their dog. Shootings robberies kids jumping other kids.
Kids getting shot. Buses, El train. I moved in the area just for the Transportion. They seem to pick up after them. They are relatively quiet as well.
Unfortunately this neighborhood is typical to several parts of the city that have gone unforgotten!!! It is full of people struggling with addiction, robbery, homelessness and all the ingredients of hopelessness!!! You cant hear a thing throughout the day or at night". Nothing at all.

There are many Daycare Centers for children to go to. Not very safe. Once you get to know the neighborhood. I've lived in the same community for 30 years, neighborhood is changing, hopefully for the best. I wish there were more events for me to attend too. Resident 3y ago. Make sure they know not to run in the street because it is a lot of traffic. The playground is always has a lot of people there so make sure they are always with an adult and know how to stay out of trouble. All the dog walkers clean up after their dogs.
There are an abundant amount of parks for allowing dogs to run free. Hard working friendly neighborhood. Easy access to many different stores and surrounding areas. Lots of walking trails. It is a Historical area and is surrounded by Fairmont Park, which I never heard anyone else say that it is the oldest and largest city, Park in the Country.
I have only good things to say about Roxborough. If you are looking for whole package with a very stable area, you found it in Roxborough. Take care and enjoy. Resident 2y ago. Lots of activities for children nearby.
Gorgas Park and Houston Playground great for kids. Occasionally some neighbors will be out without their pet on a leash. Overall, I feel safe here. As is happening everywhere, drugs are prevalent.
