I love a new challenge every day. You get a company vehicle, phone, computer, and plenty of benefits. There are many opportunities for raises and overtime. The hardest part of my job is the manual labor involved, but ymmv depending on your role. The most enjoyable part is working with great people who actually care about you. Tetra tech is a great company to work for and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in STEM related fields.

Cons physical labor, which may not even really be a con. Disaster response work documenting contractors doing tree debris removal. Long work days that start very early. No mileage paid but you need a car. Tetra Tech was a very laid-back place to work, but had no job security. They even tell you the first day on the job if somehow all the current projects finished up we would be laid off that very day.

A lot of the work was repetitive data entry The days went fast at least. Pros Laid back, able to listen to music. Cons the job security. Very good place to work, the pay is fair. Sometimes can be long hours but pay for OT is outstanding. The people here are mostly nice and everyone will help you lean the job.

Pros Good pay. Cons Only off one day a week. I joined because I had a vision of what I wanted to do for the world sustainability and I felt like Tetra Tech aligned with that. As I continue to work, I see that they are true to their mission statement. Now, not every project falls into this category, but the company as a whole definitely qualifies.

If you want to advance, let it be known and do what needs to be done and it will happen. Benefits are great in my opinion, but they could be better in some aspects. Overall, this is a great company. Pros Remote work is available, very flexible hours, constant flow of new projects, decent PTO. Cons Poor training - you learn on the fly, OT is hard to come by.

Jobs at Tetra Tech. Field Biologists. Laborers and Truck Drivers. Loan Review Specialist. Great company to work for. Provided assistance when needed. I put so much hard work into getting this and it really paid off. Thanks to your focus and determination in going the extra mile and managing all of the complexities of this project, we met our goals.

Pros Measurement was great to work with. Cons None. Was told I did good work then was downsized. The upper management was not great. They did not seem to try to do any sales work when things were slowing down. HR not super helpful.

Electrical department management was pleasant to work under. Coordination between departments was a bit haphazard. Pros Relatively low stress environment. Cons No one tried to drum up work when things slowed down. No sense. Waist of time. Disrespectful in the management line. Choice friend s over hard worker.

No hope alot of stress and problem. Run for your life to somewhere better. Pros no hope. Cons no hope. I worked on contracts. Hours varied day to day and my training was limited to my position. Communication with management was sparse and no room for advancement unless you had a masters degree. The company is jack of all trades for it's clients but does not do any one thing particularly well.

The biggest pro is autonomy and freedom to define to work on different aspects of projects. From software development, to graphic design, writing copy, project management, data analysis. The biggest con at this company is that it's very difficult to collaborate and consult with experts WITHIN the company. You have to pay them for their time by providing charge codes. All work is driven by billable hours via charge codes. If don't have billable hours to charge against you don't get paid.

If you don't have billable hours to share with other colleagues then you don't get access to them. This results in a burden on individuals as they are required to take on tasks that are outside their expertise. It's a culture where every man and woman is an island - responsible for pushing out projects on their own and unable to get expert help unless the project has hours to spare. Pros Autonomy. Cons All work revolves around billable hours. Projects weren't managed well and out of budget.

The office couldn't afford to pay any overtime. Bad communication between managers and engineers. No diversity in clients and work. Pros Good pay and regular schedule. Cons Bad management and office culture. It is a good company, covid has made life too busy work does not stop at 5. Twenty four seven expectations and high stress levered but grateful to have a job. I was a temporary worker in a temporary position.

Things were as expected. They hired me to do a job and when they job was done it was over. Pay was fair for what I did. The hours were long but that was stated upfront. Pros Job was as stated. Cons People in leadership were not on the same page and gave differing instructions. Maitland Florida Location: This company will hire you as a temp. There will be no opportunity for a permanent role even if they say other wise. It is very unprofessional here.
