I had very minimal experience as a lead residential counselor, but being in recovery myself- I gained a lot of valuable experience that can assist me in my future endeavors in this field. The Oaks at La Paloma is a great and caring place. I love the staff. This was a great place to work and you will definitely get a lot of experience if you are just starting your career in mental health or substance abuse.
