Garber has presented research in both the United States and around the world on a wide variety of topics including: total hip replacement in patients with previous lumbar spine fusion , robotic total hip replacement, arthroscopic teaching methods, and the management of complex surgical wounds with negative pressure wound therapy.

Garber also participated in a mission trip to Tanzania where he assisted in surgery as well as training Orthopaedic Residents at a local hospital. Awards While in residency, Dr. Garber received several awards including the Fischer-Owen Research Award in and for best resident research project. He was also honored with the Gerhard Kuntscher Award as the best resident teacher, as voted by his peers.

Personal In his spare time, Dr. Garber enjoys spending time with his wife, Monique, and their two children. Hobbies and Interests He also enjoys being outdoors, fishing, playing golf, and is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
